About Neonet

Ten years on the tools. Then I noticed a problem nobody was fixing.

Neonet is the agency I wish existed when I was still pulling cable. Here's the story behind it and why the whole business runs the way it does.

Founder

Kody — licensed sparky, decade on the tools.

I spent ten years as a licensed electrician. Domestic, commercial, industrial. Rough-ins, switchboard upgrades, fault-finding at 2am, commercial fit-outs, the lot. I knew my trade inside out.

What I didn't know — and what nobody taught at TAFE — was how to market a trade business. And neither did most of the tradies around me. Brilliant sparkies, plumbers and chippies, doing top-shelf work, losing jobs every single week to outfits with half their skill but twice their Google ranking.

That was the problem nobody was fixing. The best tradies in this country were invisible online. And the agencies pretending to help them didn't know a bollard light from a bathroom exhaust.

So I stopped pulling cable and started building a different kind of agency. One built to bridge the gap between the people doing the actual work and the biggest audience on the planet — the internet. That's what Neonet is, in one sentence: good tradies, made visible.

Every decision we make at Neonet runs through one filter: does this put more jobs in a tradie's diary? If the answer's no, we don't do it. That's why we don't sell branding strategy, social-media "thought leadership," or any of the other make-work agencies upsell when they've run out of ways to actually book jobs.

How we operate

Five principles. Everyone inside Neonet knows them.

  1. 01

Jobs In The Diary Or We Haven't Done Our Job

Vanity metrics are a rounding error. If the phone isn't ringing, nothing else matters.

  2. 02

    No Lock-In Contracts. Ever.

If we're not delivering, clients should be able to walk. No exit fees, no notice periods, no hostage situations.

  3. 03

    One Trade Per Suburb

Running ads for two direct competitors in the same suburb means conflicting results for both. So we don't. The moment you sign, your competitors are locked out for as long as you're with us.

  4. 04

    Plain English, Always

Our reports don't have jargon that needs a glossary. If you can't read it on your smoko break, we haven't done our job.

  5. 05

Back Yourself, Or Don't Sign The Client

If we can't back our work with a free week, we shouldn't be taking the client on.

What we won't do

A short list of things you'll never hear from us.

  • ×"Our onboarding is 6 weeks minimum."
  • ×"Engagement's up 34% — let's not look at the bookings."
  • ×"We just need another three months to build momentum."
  • ×"Your account manager is on leave, can I help?"

One week free. Just cover the ad spend.

The best way to see how we work is to see it work for yourself. No contract, no setup fee, no catch.
